This Chili Cheese Dip is a recipe that my wife’s family has had during football games for as long as she can remember. I recall the first football game that I watched with her family. Everyone was excited for this Dip as the game started. I remembered thinking, “What’s so special… it’s a dip!” It tastes best when cooked in the crockpot, but if you are in a rush, you can do it quickly on the stove top as well.

Put the 2 cans of Chili into the crock pot. Open the package of Cream Cheese and cut them into smaller pieces to help the cream cheese melt faster. Set the crock pot for however long, until Game Time. We usually do 4 hours. About an hour before eating, add in the shredded cheese. and stir.
This made a little more than 4 of the cups pictured. The thing to remember here is 2 cans of chili to 1 package of cream cheese and add shredded cheese to taste.
This is another one of those recipes that has multiple uses. This stuff works great as a hot dog chili or you can experiment with the type of chip you use. Trust me, the leftovers won’t last long in the fridge.
